We opted out of going to a national convention in 2017 in favor of something closer to home - the 23rd Annual Kool Deadwood Nites four-day festival (August 24th -27th) of car show, live music, parades, tourist destinations and incredible natural beauty in Deadwood, South Dakota in the heart of the Black Hills. It's the biggest event of the year in the town of Deadwood (pop. 1,300), which is known for its events. The whole town is a National Historic Landmark. Lots of history, lots of cars, lots of fun!
